TRIPTYKON ll
- UDFLUGT (2022)
Triptykon shifts between the undone, the done and that which has already passed. It is a porous room where stone and steel can flow through. Bodies, sounds and invisible structures clash and crystallize in new formations. Together they create an image that can be seen from all sides, and which moves when you move.
Triptykon is three different performance-events; Triptykon l - Vandmærke, Triptykon ll - Udflugt and Triptykon - Splat, created by Danseatelier across the season of 21/22. The title Triptykon is borrowed from the visual arts, and is a threefold unit, consisting of individual paintings that both stand together and separate.
Triptykon ll - Udflugt (eng. excursion) is a collective created performance that took temporary residency at Den Frie in Copenhagen. The piece invited the audience on a picnic into the dances that unfolded in the 6 empty gallery spaces of Den Frie. A group of 6 dancers went on collective and individual journeys through the space, through the movements and through the audience and each other.
