Water to gas, sand to glass is a choreographic research that investigates transformation and states of becoming through walking, dancing and singing.
Navigating the space through transformative trajectories, the work delves into realms of tactility, sensuality, subtlety, and vibration. Every step becomes a conduit for exploration, as gates, thresholds, and edges unveil themselves as portals into alternate states of being within the landscape of the dance studio.
Though a practice of ‘walking into something more than walking’ Snorre explores how to weave with the space and let oneself be transformed thereby. Like a domino effect; one things leads to another - leads to another - leads to another - creating a chain reaction - that unfolds situations by itself.
Water to gas, sand to glass is a continuation of the research from the performance Vortex Delight.
